Spring Styles To Take You From Brunch To Date Night

I’ve heard from many of you that you sometimes feel overwhelmed by the selection on their site & don’t always have time to browse through all the new arrivals to find what you’re looking for.  So, over the next couple months, I’m going to have several posts that help break down my top finds in each category – hopefully this will help you save time & discover those hidden gems before they sell out!  Let’s get into my picks for this week & three outfit combinations I love…

CROP TOP + MIDI SKIRT

When it comes to creating a flattering silhouette, I’m not sure there is a better pairing than this one.  A midi skirt that sits at or above your natural waist & a fitted cropped top is ideal for accentuating curves without being too revealing.  This is the type of skirt I love for spring & summer because it’s so breezy and lightweight – thanks to the small scale floral pattern, you could easily wear it with almost any color (like this coral bodysuit or this yellow cami).  It has an attached belt that you can tie either in the front or the back (which helps to cinch your waist in even more).  This white eyelet top has such pretty details and a sweet feminine feel, but if you wanted something a little less trendy, you could wear the skirt with a button-front tank like this one (I’d knot it at the waist).

SUNDRESS + WEDGES

I love the ease of a simple sundress that you can just throw on with comfortable wedges & head out the door in.  This linen-blend dress is so cute – it has pockets and also comes in a pretty pale blue (sizes are limited, but I’ll keep my eye on it & let you know when a restock happens!).  Other ways to style it would be to layer this white crewneck tee underneath & pair with these sneakers or add this straw belt at the waist & tie this scarf in your hair.  More dresses to check out under $60: this button-front dress, this ruched dress (a stunner for date night!) and this fit & flare.

CAMISOLE + DENIM

If you’re more of a jeans girl or if you’re heading to a casual get-together, this pairing is for you!  I fell in love with this colorful leopard print – so unique & fun!  This is more than just a basic camisole, thanks to the button detail and subtle fit & flare shape.  This is a faux wrap style & it has a hidden hook & eye at the neckline to keep everything covered – just throw a denim jacket or lightweight cardigan on top if it’s still a bit chilly where you live.

If you still haven’t found white jeans for the season, these are a great option – the fit is perfect, the distressing is minimal & they’re not sheer at all (I found them to run true to size).  And how fun is this woven bag?  I’ve never seen anything like it and the quality is amazing!  Looking for more fun tops to pair with your favorite denim?  Try this smocked top, this cowl neck camisole, this floral top, this lace tank & this tie-front blouse.
